Just in case the water stops running
We filled up the bathtub but the stopper doesn't work. So we "MacGyvered" it. We put tape over the drain and then put the toilet plunger over it and put waits on the plunger. So far, the water is staying.
Prepping for Frankenstorm 2012
Our flight was canceled. We are in NYC for the storm.
I was on the phone for over 5 hours with United to rebook our flight. The next day I was on for 2 hours.
Empty Metro Station-Times Square
Bread gone.
Water gone.

In Honor of Being in NYC for the NY TV Festival
Just because you and your buddies think a video you make is funny, doesn't mean it is.
Don't say out loud, "wow, it pays to know someone" 'cause you are probably sitting next to the filmmaker.
Don't exit the room if four, large men wearing all black are guarding the door. It is very likely the Jersey Shore cast is entering the building.
Weather talk REALLY does work to start a conversations. Justin, it was great to meet you. Sandy, I hope you don't hit until after we leave Monday morning.
Michael and I decided to get dinner at Hard Rock at Times Square. Our waiter, bless his heart, decided to make small talk. Yes, he sat down at our table and told us all about Lake Placid in Upstate New York. He also hovered. The restaurant also ran out of boxes to take home food. So, he brought out a box of aluminum foil. Industry size.
