"Friends"

Michael: Ashley, I have a secret. While watching the Season 6 finale of "Friends", I cried it was so touching.

Ashley: Are you on your period?

Michael: Maybe...

Homeland

Love "Homeland".  Sure, it has it's ups and downs.  But, overall it is great.

But, Michael always calls it "Homelands".  It bugs me that he uses the wrong title.  So I have started correcting him.

Until we had this conversation:

Michael: ...Homelands.

Ashley: It's Homeland.

Michael: I'm sorry.  It's because when I was in High School there was a "Magic the Gatherings" expansion called "Homelands" and my brain keeps thinking of that.  It's a good game.  It's fun.

What a nerd.  Now I just laugh at him when he says "Homelands".

Wisdom

Michael and I had a conversation about what we have learned this last year.  He seems to be picking up on things when he said, "I've learned it is better for me to let you sleep."

Wise man.  A very wise man.

Happy 1st Year Anniversary

Our anniversary just past.  The day after our anniversary I came home from work.  Michael and I started making dinner.  After a few minutes of silence Michael said, "I don't really have much to talk about."

And so begins the rest of our lives.

The Story Goes

Michael and I first met on a student film back in 2008.  I remember him being on set but I tended to keep to myself.  Michael, on the other hand, remembers a conversation that I have no recollection of.

The other day I had to quickly look up a photo on facebook.  I had to look through a few albums.  While looking I came across an album that I had created back in 2008.  It was an album of set photos I took while on set of this so-called student film.  I took a nostalgic look and who did I happen to see?

Half Asleep

A Conversation between Michael and me while both are half asleep:


Michael: I'm dreaming about a Zombie Apocalypse.

Ashley: Did you have a gun?

Michael: No, I don't believe in  guns.

Ashley: You do if it is a Zombie Apocalypse.  Go find a gun.

Michael: Okay.


Then we both fell back to sleep.

When driving a club car on the Paramount Studio lot, DO NOT go full speed when going over a speed bump.  Club cars do not have shocks.

My signal was spotty.  Hard to send texts.

Firefighters working hard.  All I know with this location was a guy did something in the basement with his own generators.  Some how it got the fire fighters to the apartment complex.  A guy standing buy kept saying "he was more interested in making money."  My imagination has gone crazy with that one...
