First Day of Class

We have several guests that speak to us in various classes. Sometimes those guests are treated to a dinner and some students may attend to ask questions.

I was able to go on Thursday with William Morris Literary Agent, Anna Deroy. It was a great experience and we all enjoyed ourselves.

So much so that we went over on our time so I was a few minutes late to class. It was fine though because as I walked in to class I realized it hadn't started yet.

And then I realized I was in the wrong classroom.

Awkward...

Got word my Italian citizenship has processed.

Here's to more easily traveling in Europe.

The Devil Wears Prada-Ashley style

One of the assistants had to leave early yesterday from work because he was ill. As an intern, I was the lucky one to cover his desk, although nervous as it was my first time so I wasn't exactly sure what to do.

The exec did call me on his phone at one point (knowing his assistant, Harrison, had already left), "Harrison!"

I simply picked up and said, "yes?"

Just like Anne Hathaway was the new Emily, I am now the new Harrison. Well, for half a day at least.

I'm moving up...

Lunch Break

On my way to lunch yesterday at my internship, a man asked me if I would adopt him.

He then said he would adopt me.

I just laughed.

What else was I to do?
