I was on my way to my internship this morning in Beverly Hills. The traffic was a bit worse than normal but nothing I couldn't handle. It took me an hour and a half to get to Beverly Hills.
As I got in, being only three blocks or so from my internship building, I saw the cars in front of me stop for a red light. The car to my left (I was in the right lane) had stopped about a car distance from the car in front of him. I thought that was odd but kept driving ahead to where the car in front of me had stopped, about two car lengths away. I did slow down so I wasn't going fast.
As I was about to pass the car to my left, an older gentleman stepped out in front of the car to my left. Now it clicked that the driver had stopped for the gentleman and was allowing him to cross the street (illegally mind you).
Regardless, I stopped for the man but he insisted I drive past him. At least he was aware of me as a driver and I must say, I appreciated that.
Who was this man, you ask? None other than our most favorite host, Larry King.
I always had a dream to see him live and in person one day...
Sweet! And glad he was nice to you.
