I was faced with a moral dilemma today but both the moral and dilemma were fleeting as I resolved them.
The dilemma: I went to get some food for lunch and asked my boss and another coworker if they wanted something. I knew my boss would say no and I assumed my coworker would say no because my other coworkers always say no. But she said yes. And I had no desire to get her anything.
The moral: I did end up getting her something. Shortly after, my boss left to get some lunch for herself and when she came back she said she saw Ted Danson.
so, was the moral to NOT ask people if they want you to get them some lunch? Or was it, go with your boss for lunch because you might see Ted Danson?
