Brittany and I were joking about the wedding reception. I told her I had no desire to have one as the thought of planning everything makes me stressed out, even though I have no need to think about it. She told me that it is worth it, if for anything, for the money.
She said she is a business woman. Marriage is her first business venture.
Let me tell you, we didn't want a reception either. And we ended up having 2. But it is awesome for the presents. And let your moms plan it, then it helps with the stress. Also, it doesn't have to be difficult.
ReplyDeleteAlso, my parents reminded me that the reception isn't really for us, it's for everyone else to congratulate us and tell our parents how awesome they are.
However, I would rather just take the $$ and go on an awesome trip
